A friend of mine was murdered recently. Well, I say recently, it was some time ago actually. He was a big, stupid man who went by the name Brian Turd. The news reports even called him Brian Turd. He would have gotten the biggest fucking kick out of that. He was walking his dog early in the evening and someone put two in his chest. No one knows what

Wow, so much to think about in this writing...

But I think I have put up a wall with death since everyone in my family is dead except my brother and my kids.

Death comes, sooner or later it comes, it never goes....

When I found out about Brian's murder all I could remember was his drunk goofy grin and him saying how he wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and singing "I like to eat apples and bananas". You said it perfectly, but when I think about back then I realize how the thought of my current life never even occured to me back then. I never thought I was indestructible back then, but it's glaringly apparent that my eyes had a real rosy hue.

When I think of him, I think of going into shitty dance bars with him at 4am and watching him physically threaten the DJ until they stopped playing hip-hop and played "You Spin Me Right Round." He would yell the lyrics out and spin in violent circles knocking everyone over until the song ended. Then, he would stand there and say, "Play 'Right Round' motherfucker, play it." Until they did.
