You're an adult, and have to make your own choices. traceroo November 12 2004, 06:11:12 UTC
From everything you've written both about the job, and your mother's work ethic, I think you're making the right choice. This job isn't what you want to do. It falls far short of adding to your quality life, and is indeed injuring you. Your mother obviously has a very strong work ethic, and believes in working at all costs. That may work well for her, but it isn't necessarily the healthiest attitude for everyone, and clearly not for you. Your mother also seems to impress very strong opinions on you about what you do with your life. It's time she comes to accept that her "boy" is now an adult, capable and indeed to be encouaged to make his own decisions. Frankly, I think moving out of your mom's house would be a great thing for you. I have no doubt of your breathing a sigh of relief in looking back on doing so.

Best of luck,
T.

Thanks Trace and don't worry about me I'm a survivor. As for moving out I do have that option and when I presented it to my mom I think it kinda jolted her a lil about me no longer being under her control and watchful eye. My mom right now from what I can tell isn't happy with my descision but she's letting me handle it to my liking and partially to hers as she just wants me to have a job right now.
