I am going to throw a wild guess in here... but Bobby Fischer is a chess player, correct???

Of course I don't know how to play chess because you still haven't taught me, but I do remember a Saturday Night Live skit with Will Ferrell and him cheering for a chess match and someone named Bobby Fischer. :)

you are correct. he was an amazing chess player. one of the best. at the height of the coldwar he was really young but he played the grand champion of russia in chess and beat him and became a national hero for it and because of the fame he went into hiding and wasn't seen again for years and years and then later in the 90's or something, he reappeared reclaimed his title and then disappeared again, just basically to show that he was still the best. the movie "searching for bobby fisher" (or fischer, i'm not sure how to spell it) isn't actually about him but it does give some of the history and is an amazing movie. i did try to teach you once and though i didn't finish, i'd still love to teach you to play sometime
