Buffy was much more well-armed in Cleveland than she'd been in any other place, including Sunnydale. The Scythe was, as usual, strapped to her back with the handle in an easy-to-reach position; but she wasn't only bearing that. She had a crossbow set to fire multiple arrows (a fairly new-and-shiny addition to her collection of weaponry), as well as her normally stashed stakes. She was ready to go; ready to kill whatever crossed her path, ready to take on whatever she might run into, no matter what it was
