Something I noticed in Inu-fandom, is there are trends in the fanfics. When I first got into it last year, it was all secret agent or CIA type of stories, some are still hanging on. And pirate stories which flared up again this past summer, unsurprisngly. I haven't really noticed that in HP fanfics but then I hardly ever venture outside of cm. ( Read more... )

I've had a thing for reading bad FMA/HP crossovers.

wait...what? How random xD How do they even make that plausible, hahaha. through the parallell world/gate?

The gate is the silent victim in those fics, it's like a magical teleporting device that's collects limbs instead of money. Most of them usually consist of the fma characters going to Hogwarts to look for the Philosopher's Stone. Yeah, there's some real bad stuff out there.

Surprisingly, I haven't seen as many as I thought there would be. There's the occasional Ed/Hermione or Ed/Draco, but for the most part the pairings tend to stay with their own fandom like Ed/Roy and whatnot. What's worse though is the Sue who often appears as the love interest, Ed's twin is Harry's new girlfriend and more horrors like that.
