Words cannot express my amazement. I checked my final grades with a hand over my eyes, I was scared about passing math and I thought I'd end up with a B for sure in English. But shockingly I pulled a B in math and A's in my other classes. Holy camoli. I'm still worried my math grade was a misprint and I might be stuck retaking the class. I ( Read more... )

congrats! I love when I do better than expected in classes. It's such a relief!

Oh, I heard MCR's cover of "All I Want for Christmas". Loved it! I always sort of liked that song, because of it's peppiness, but the Mariah Carey part not so much. So yay, a new reason to like it. *grins*

Good luck with your Christmas shopping and movie quote fic! :)

Thanks:D

Nothing wrong with peppiness, makes for some fun music ^^ "All I Want for Christmas" is my favorite Christmas jam; I always found it rather amusing the almost bizarrness of My Chem covering the song yet they never lack the pep so it's all fun ;)

Congrats on the good grades! You did very well.

Don't even get me started on the Christmas songs. There's this one that goes:

"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. And the very next day...you gave it away."

How sad and depressing is that?

Thanks!

Oh gosh, I think I actually know that song, I want to say it's a Wham song, I shouldn't know this. But I heard it quite a few times last year on the Christmas radio station during the driving part of drivers ed, what's worse is the song sounds like it's five minutes long. I noticed the songs that play in the stores often sound depressing and makes you never want to listen to any music that features Christmas again even if they're singing about winter wonderland.
