Happy Chinese New Year all! Have you been on the floor at a concert before? If not here's my advice...It doesn't really matter what band it is, no matter what sort of concert you go to it's going to be crazy and you could get hurt. People get nasty, especially the young boys. They seem to think they need to bang around and act like assholes for it to be fun. But if you're vigiliant and wear proper clothes, it's pretty safe. I've seen girls wear heels or flip flops on the floor. I roll my eyes and say "good luck". I always wear non-heeled boots or comfortable trainers. Otherwise your feet will not be happy the next day. You'll get pushed and banged around a bit. That's unavoidable. Just watch who is around you. A lot of times guys will look out for you. Gotta watch out for the teen girls though. One concert I went to some girl was stabbing people with a safety pin to get to the front. :/ And try to get water beforehand or bring some with you if you can. It gets so ungodly hot

My concert experience is lacking muchly but that is the kind of stuff I'm expecting from asking around and reading about shows. The floor sounds so awesome though. I don't get the flip flop thing either though, I've known people that have done it and they can never explain why it sounded like a good idea at the time. Thanks for the advice though! Now to convince my mom it's cool... :D
