So, being the loser I am, I have written a poem about Grendel.

I HAVE SEEN GOD, a monster by design and the only love poem I will ever write:

Caked, ages dried blood, gnarled fur
My soft underbelly, smooth down fluff
Oh, it grew wild, like the root plunging through-
our archaic den- twisted-
I grew.

It was outstanding - Solomon's; though sadly we got Danny Shirard instead of Anis Mojgani - not a fair trade. WHich show did you see?

Oh, man, that's so sad. Anis was really one of my favorites. Well, they are all my favorites, but it still counts. I saw the show at Clark in Worcester, Mass. and the one at Brown in Providence, RI. I did see Danny Shirard at Brown, in addition to everyone else, though. Both of which were amazing. Apparently Brown had been the biggest show they had done so far. Which did you see?

i just watched Anis' "Shake the Dust" like 5 times in a row. Shivers.
