You need to end it, that's what you need to do. You have a history of guys treating you poorly and you taking it. You need to not waste anymore time with Michael. What if you marry him and you're just stuck with this shit for the rest of your life? Seriously. There are a billion dudes who have enough respect for their lady to not hit on another girl in front of you. Imagine what he might do behind your back. :/
After everything cooled down on Sunday, we talked about it. He swears up and down that he wasn't hitting on her, just making friendly conversation. I have an incredibly hard time believing that, seeing as he was completely ignoring everybody else in our group, not just me.
The crazy part about this whole situation is that this is completely out of character for him. He's always been so affectionate, doting, and mindful. I have zero idea where this came from. You're right, I have a long history of letting men walk all over me, and I swore that after Jason there would be no more of this.
...But where do you draw the line? What's a one-time mistake and what's an immediate deal-breaker? I've always had problems distinguishing between the two....
I mean, I'm not there, so I don't know. But from what you say is that he was hitting on someone and you asked him to stop. He didn't. Even if he was having a friendly conversation, you expressed that it made you uncomfortable, but still, he disregarded your feelings and kept doing it anyway
