I spent Friday celebrating the Supreme Court's ruling on marriage equality at Free2Be, a local LGBTQ center here in Huntsville. Michael and Sydney tagged along, and we had a pretty great time. Go you for having the guts to do something like that in the Deep South. Being in NYC, it's easy for me to be actively happy about it because 90% of the people I know are happy about it. Kudos to you.

Gotta be vocal about stuff like that down here. Otherwise everybody assumes that you're of the same mindset, and they'll say horribly racist/sexist/homophobic shit around you.

There are two guys that Michael hangs out with at the airport. One of them is constantly using derogatory terms towards Mexican Americans. I have no idea why Michael hasn't slapped him upside the head since he's a goddamned Mexican American, but it's not my place to point it out or White Knight for him.
