Why is flirting with people so freaking hard to avoid? Even when you don't intend to flirt with them, it happens. Is this just me?!

I used to flirt when I was younger and drunk and when I wasn't drunk with the right people. :-P I think it's cause people want to get attention to prove to themselves they are desirable. When you're my age you're old and you get past that cause number one you're not cute and number two you don't give a rip what others think about you but you love yourself. My opinion only though.
