Wow, haven't you ever seen someone leave their side salad untouched before? I do that all the time, and now I'm kind of embarrassed about it. The thing is, though, 90% of side salads come smothered in mayonnaise (or another dressing which tastes bad), which I hate, and even when they don't, they almost always contain other things I hate like cucumber or onion. And on the off-chance I get a salad without mayonnaise and cucumber and onion, I give up after the first mouthful when I realise it tastes so bland that I may as well be eating grass.

(Only applies to vegetable salads, though - I love fruit salads!)

yeah...i spose i haven't seen someone do it as OBVIOUSLY as felipe though.

i do it sometimes but only because i'm far too full. and usually my meal has vegetables in it regardless of the presence/absence of side salad.

thanks m'dear. it has almost gone away actually (despite the NY shenanigans we got up to :P) just a cough now. they always linger.
