So I was in the grocery store the other day and the soundtrack of my personal hell came on the muzak station. It's an awful song by Paul McCartney that just repeats "we're simply having a wonderful time this year...Christmas, Christmas, wonderful time this year..." Karin and I both revile this song

I agree that Paul McCartney song is dumb. The synth line in the background is totally off beats and sounds like shit. For some reason Megan likes that song, though. Too bad.

i hate that song soooo much. i have an awful holiday memory of waiting in a huuuge line at the gap to return something for my mom with that somg just repeating itelf over and over. in that moment i understood how people can snap and go on a murderous rampage. i find that if you simpsonize it by relplacing christmas with fishheads it loses a little of its annoyance. but only a little.
