Gratitudes, running and jobs!

My local minister held a brief meditation course, and there's a great quote she used:

"You can't keep the birds from flying, but you can keep them from building a nest."You know, between putting a load of energy into maintaining a positive mindset, learning more and more about the power of positive prayer and the law of attraction and living ( Read more... )

You know, I read your entries and know what you're like in real life and those around you, and I just wanted to say how much of an inspiration you really are to me.

I guess I've been sappy lately, but I'm really happy to be able to read your positive thoughts. I don't think I have enough of my own, and it's hard to find people that want to spread it to others without discouragement. Anywho, thanks!

::BIG HUGS::

It's such a huge blessing to have an open forum to express ourselves and our ideals here on the web :) Meeting people, talking to them and sharing ideas makes the world more shiny, and hearing that it hits positive notes is the best reward of these experiences!

I'm touched and honored by your words and for having you in my life, and I'm super glad that it inspires and brings you happiness :) ♥

it's hard to find people that want to spread it to others without discouragement. There's something about humans and how our survival instincts are exaggerated into ideas like competition, greed and jealousy, and it's unfortunate how other people block their good by being negative, judgmental and critical of others ( ... )

Thankies, Sugar! ♥

Also - I was talking to Pat the other night and told her about my trip to London and meeting you, Mark and Katie :) I showed her the artwork you did for me and she was totally blown away! She absolutely loved it - nearly as much as I do :)

Told her about The Negative and our experiences there and how awesome it is that the place is real and our coincidences and stuff!

Hope your ears were buzzing, 'cuz you were spoken of very highly ♥

YAY! It's funny how life puts us in different directions all the time, but the basic, simple things remain the same. I love my artwork and gifts dearly, and every time I see them, I feel so blessed ♥

Hmmm, the Negative... not so much lately, especially since I've moved back to Florida. My sleeping mind's been in serious REM mode and I'm going all over the place in my dreams, and usually my Negative experiences happen when it's less busy in here.

Awe, Fix! DUDE if you come over for that convention in July 2010, we should do a road trip to New Orleans and go to this awesome place called Felix's! Maybe food pr0n in Fix's honor will cheer him up :)

Plus there's CAKE! Fried cakes! MmMmmmm beignets...

Awe, and I super appreciate your words :) Glad it hits positive notes, and thanks for the confidence booster!

Oi! How's school going?!??! How are things in Houston? HOW ARE YOU??!?! :)

Culinary school would be a DREAM! I may wait until next fall to apply, unless I can get a scholarship for the winter term. One day at a time!

Wooooo! It felt good to do it motivation-wise, and learning things (even if they're repeat lessons) are always beneficial :)

THANKS TANYA ♥ It did, and it sounds like a great opportunity and I'd be working with some dynamite people. Here's to new beginnings!

OMG I loved working on campus when I attended, so being back in that atmosphere is awesome :) Excited to hear back from them - should be within a week or so!!!
