Digital Camera

I might be buying my wife a Digital Camera for x-mas. Any suggestions, or warnings on what to avoid?

You should get to see my Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS today and play with it.... I highly recommend the Canon Powershot SD series.

(the Sony CyberShot is also acceptable)

and remember, always use C-Net for research :-)

What he said, but more towards Canon imo.

Also, avoid Kodak and Nikon cameras for the most part, especially Kodak.
