he's using a technique called anamorphosis...
his stuff is pretty impressive but the best anamorphosis is absolutely puzzling...
it's the creation of one image that appears normal but then when viewed with a mirror or some other device to obscure the angle it shows another different hidden image...
there is a film on it by the brothers quay that is definitely worth a look...
