Yeah, I know, two posts in as many days, but, well, as much as I'm not overly sanguine about the "Countdown" weekly series that's been advertised as following after "52", this button from their promo efforts expresses a sentiment I find is always true, so here you go.

A Countdown with Keith Olbermann comic book would rule, especially if it crossed over frequently with Stephen Colbert Presents Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7: The New Tek Jansen Adventures.

That would, indeed, be totally awesome. Alas, that's not what's in the pipe. Instead, it's things like Jimmy Olsen being killed off, the revelation of where Ray Palmer's been since Infinite Crisis, something involving Mary Marvel and Eclipso being referred to as "The Seduction of the Innocent", and who knows what else. I imagine that if you kept up with DC like you used to keep up with Marvel, there'd be two comics companies on the Dead To You list.
