Scenario: Why Percy really went bad, and ignored his family for oh-so long.
Lucius walked into Percy’s office magically sealing the door behind him.
Percy startled, rose from his desk. “Can I help you Mr. Malfoy?”
“Only if you’re a useful member of this Ministry…which I highly doubt.” His voice was as icy as his glare.
“This I can assure you otherwise.” Percy challenged, straightening his back.
“Then you’ll have no problem notarizing this parchment as the Minister’s signature.”
“I didn’t witness him sign it.”
Lucius took controlling strides towards Percy backing him into the wall, looming in, and resting his cane on Percy’s shoulder, speaking smoothly. “Then it’s just as Cornelius confided, your assurances are as useless as any Weasley’s.”
Percy gulped and turned his face away.
Lucius shook his head in disgust and half-hearted amusement, trailing his cane down the front of Percy’s body.
“You’re as pathetically virginal with how to conduct yourself in the grown-up political world as you are physically. No wonder Cornelius was considering a replacement.”
“I will.” Percy trembled.
Lucius’ lip curled, the cane tracing a bulge through Percy’s zipper.
“Well, aren’t you certainly excited to play with the Big Wizards, now that you know your job’s at stake?”
Lucius turned around hastily marching to the door. “No, I think not. I’ll get a proper assistant to do this, one without red hair. When you insult me…this insults the Ministry.”
“No wait!”
Lucius froze, a smile playing across his lips.
Percy blocked his exit. “I will not go down with that family. I’ll do whatever it takes to make this up, I beg of you.”
Lucius offered the parchment smugly, sitting in a chair and spreading his legs, “No, to make this up…you will go down.”
Percy silently watermarked the parchment.
Then he knelt between Lucius’ knees and looked up to him. “Anything for the Ministry.”
