Cool Whip is a brand of imitation whipped cream for putting on top of pie and ice cream and cake. It comes in a plastic tub, and yeah, it's sweet. Mostly sugar, cream, and water.

Velveeta cheese is a "processed cheese product". It's cheese, but only in the loosest sense of the word. Still, it tastes good on macaroni, and a lot of people eat it as a comfort food.

White gravy is pretty much a béchamel sauce. You make it the same way as regular gravy, with meat fat and flour to thicken it, but then you add milk or cream. Hence, "white" gravy. It's also called "country gravy", and it's used fairly often in Southern cooking.
