Oh GOD thank you so much for this. I love it so much. Thank you for setting it on the day of Billy's wedding, a day that I am endlessly fascinated with, and an incredibly brave move on your part. This fic is special and different, and feels right and true.

I'll definitely be coming back to reread and shower more love on it, but for now I will just thank you profusely. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I love it.

How beautiful - and brave, as mentioned.

This is so hauntingly rich in emotion and layered in love - Billy's eternal caring for Dom fixed firmly in place for both of them - Dom drawing eternal strength from their relationship.

Even though for me it's a big angsty, I think the emotions in the piece are beautifully realized, very honestly depicted. And I love that the hongi is something Billy will only share with Dom.

I loved it all, but this bit especially:

"Ready?"

Dom couldn't help but smile back. "Yes."

this subtle role reversal, when normally you would expect the groom to be asked if he was ready.

This is a beautiful scene, full of passages, full of ritual (setting it in a Catholic Church was very fitting), full of bitter and sweet, and love. What a wonderful present for eff_reality!
