"If you break it, I'll hex you," Pansy hissed, shoving the large book into Ginny's arms. It was bound flimsily and looked too fragile to be held.
They could each get any boy they wanted, yet there was something about Draco that neither obviously felt for anyone else. Pansy was eying her, as if regretting giving her the book. Then suddenly Pansy gave a small smile and turned on her heel. Ginny looked to where Pansy was staring - Draco was walking fast and alone.
She felt a strong pang of jealousy as she watched Pansy go to Draco's side.

"I suggest you start running," Lucius said, giving the Muggle woman in front of him a deadly glare. Another night, another Muggle to kill. He'd been doing it so often he couldn't be bothered to feel anything anymore. No matter what he did, life went on. The world didn't stop because another Muggle was killed, or because the Dark Lord was closer to being back in his old position.
He'd learned this long ago. When his own father died, he was sure that the world would stop. It didn't, and the pain didn't stop. Lucius couldn't stop life going on.

"Just sit there and look pretty, dear."
Pansy nodded, tears in her eyes, and bit her lip. Her stomach hurt beyond belief, and it wasn't because she was pregnant. She had come to see Narcissa for the day. She didn't expect her baby to kick her for the first time in her pregnancy.
They were eating Pansy's second lunch that day when it happened. Pansy had cried and screamed, panicking because she'd thought something was wrong with the baby. Narcissa at once comforted her and tried to track down Draco.
Pansy was extremely thankful, but still embarrassed at her reaction.

"Ravenclaw," Slytherin hissed. Ravenclaw glared, then fluttered out of the room, plotting an extremely devious way to get back at Slytherin. Oh, Slytherin wouldn't know what hit them...
"Oi, Slytherin!" Gryffindor called. Slytherin ignored them, instead choosing to scan through the large book in front of them for the hex they had read of earlier. Lovely, Slytherin thought, closing the book with a satisfied look on its face. It walked up to Gryffindor, who was joking around with Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff, intimidated, scurried off to find Ravenclaw.
"Gryffindor," Slytherin said, smirking. Gryffindor just smiled and planted a kiss on Slytherin's cheek.
