This is another one of those times that my canon likes to remind us that it's pretty fucked up in places.
Aya: Capell...
Capell: Is something wrong?
A: It's nothing. I was just wondering what demands my father will have for us.
C: Hmmm...Hey, Aya.
A: What is it, Capell?
C: Well, you know that I'm an unblessed.
A: ...Yes.
C: When I was little, I was taken in by a bad person. He kept me in a cage and barely fed me. I learned to play the flute before I learned to speak. So, it's easier for me to play music than to talk to people.
A: ...Are you serious!?
C: ...No, I was just joking.
A: Capell! How could you? I really believed your story! Why did you do that!?
C: I'm sorry! Ouch! I said I was sorry! I only did it because...
A: Because what!?
C: You looked like you were about to cry. It's more like you to be angry at me over some little thing.
A: What are you saying?
C: Did I cheer you up? I'll play a song to make it up to you.
A: Um, all right. If you really me to, I'll listen...Hey!
C: Hm?
A: You were kidding about that, weren't you?
C: ...Yes. I made it all up.
A: ...Right.
C: I want you to listen to this. Are you ready?
[plays something bright and cheerful and trilling]
...Whether Aya believes his story or not, I would think it should bother her that Capell's idea of cheering her up is to make her angry at him. S-so not okay ;;
