Cute as it is, I find it slightly inaccurate - Capell is optimistic about things like lets be in love forevers and evers and is not jaded at all about that, but the rest of the time he is shy and closed off and pretty sure people are going to betray him. "Optimistic" is not really a word I would choose for Capell's worldview, and probably he'd only further depress depressed people.
Unless he told them sad stories to make them angry, I guess.
