Trousers in general are a gian pita. My selection currently consists of:
a) grey ones which are comfy, but way too large and long, and thus hang off my hips in a ridiculous manner (wear regularly) b)pinstripe black ones which are nearing their expiration date but are otherwise fine (wear regularly) c) new pinstripes from DP, which are already fucked after only a couple of times of wearing them, so cannot do so again, as look HIDEOUS d)about ten billion pairs that are far too tight to wear, and about 2 pairs that vaguely fit but are either too short/too wide or look really crap.
I have two decent pair of pants that havae 3/4 length legs, so those are useless. I have two nice pants - one grey tweed, one camel tartan - that are too big and I'll take those to a tailor to have them taken in. And then that one pair of jeans, which is long enough and looks good but is that washed out black denim that I don't like too much. Bah.
So I'm left with that one pair of blue jeans that will rip any second now. And I should just stop ordering regular-length jeans, they are always too short and then I get annoyed and just bah. I have a few skirts, I shall become a skirt-wearer. *nods*
Sack-cloth. It's clearly the solution for all ours woes.
