Back! TMI!

Jul 31, 2007 20:38

So I'm home from the pap smear. It was...not fun. I have a fantastic doctor and she didn't baby me or anything, just told me what she was going to do and was very gentle. Well as gentle as you can be. She's lovely person, I really do like her. She does all sorts of relief trips and I think they're Mormon. She does it with her family and I ( Read more... )

Hee. I admire you, because I've tried to get a pap smear several times and... I kind of tend to pass out. It's a problem.

Meep! Passing out is not good! *hugs* Is it like anxiety or something? I got very light-headed when she first walked in then Mum smacked me on the back of the head. *giggle*

I think it's a combination of anxiety and being reaaaaaaally (TMI!) tight up there, both naturally and because nothing has ever gone up there before. I'm seriously considering asking for a tranquilizer or something the next time we try, because otherwise I really don't see it happening. :D

We're all TMI on my journal. *giggles* I think that's a good idea, because I already told Mom that when I go next year I may take somethine just to relax me. I don't care how manny times you tell me to relax, I won't. *snorts* "Just relax your leg muscles" Oh, ok, sure, no problem.

I have never been to a gynecologist (I'm 20 and not sexually active either ::gives you the v-club super secret handshake::), but last year I went for a physical and was told I should probably go soon. They almost sent me to go see one, but then decided I didn't need to (for above reasons). I figure I should probably do that sometime.

...I should also go to the dentist, since I have not in a great many years and I'm pretty sure one of my teeth is about to burst into little pieces. ::pulls face::

It's definitely a good idea. I've had to go off and on since I was 15 because of the PCOS thing. And see, I knew the V-club would have advantages, I got to put of the inevitable for as long as possible. Hee. It's not that bad, the good gynecologists make you feel comfortable and not embarrassed. My first one was awful but I love my current one.

Meeeeep. I have so put off going for a cleaning because I *know* I have cavities. They're not bothering me so I don't bother them. We have a deal, you see. I still go to the ortho, though and I always pray they don't look too closely.

HELLO, WIFE. *sits on and squishes* Don't worry about it. *grins* The same thing used to happen in sex ed. I think I'm going to be one of those people who faint at these things. ;)

Omg...! I love you toooo. It's been forever.

*is sat on and squished* Hee, I can see where that stuff makes people squeamish. I treat it like medicine just take it fast and get it over with even thought it's icky.

It has been! I miss you. *clings and does not let go!* How do you feel?

I was going to say, "You should have put this under a 'TMI' cut!" But then I realised I probably would have read it anyway.

Oh man. Medical shit freaks me out.

*flails arms and makes face*
