Why does everyone always write Brendon Urie wearing boxers? We have TONS of evidence to the contrary. We have picture after picture and we have video and I don't think I've ever seen him in boxers - he wears briefs guys- he's rather fond of American Apparel. So why do

i'm not entirely sure what the whole ~thing with boxers is-- as, as far as underwear go, they're pretty damn un-sexy, and also really hard to actually put in correctly fitted pants.

i do know that some people call boxer-breifs "boxers" which i find odd, but whatever. maybe that is what they picture. who knows. i do know that any boy who regularly wears pants as tight as bandom seems to would not be smart to choose boxers. that's just silly!

I think it's because he wears boxer briefs and that's just too long to write, so people shorten it to boxers. Because brief-breifs are kind of the least sexy thing ever imo. :)

Mmm yeah - I could see that. In my head a brief is a brief - no matter how long the legs are - and boxers are those billowy swim trunk looking things LOL.
But now I wonder if even in general conversation people usually mean boxer briefs, because only our grandparents wear real boxers >:D

I am guilty of this, myself. And just about everyone else does it seems like. But I love when people use briefs instead, I think I put him in boxers simply because I wear them and I'm a chick.
But briefs are sexier.
So what the hell is wrong with me?
There's nothing sexy about me. But there's a whole lot sexy about brendon

I definently am guilty. GUILTY. I usually refer to boxer-briefs as just boxers. Although many boys my age (25) still do wear boxers. Technically, I would pin Zack as a boxer kind of guy with his cargo shorts and all. I do refer to brief-briefs as y-fronts. It just makes a more complete image in my head for some reason. Underoos are also the same thing, and I love when people describe adorable or silly patterns on them. Think about Brendon in a pair of dinosaur underoos!
Boxer-briefs are sexy as hell though, right?

I think I may be guilty in some of my earlier fics, before I got obsessed to the point I actually knew what kind of underwear Brendon wore on a daily basis. But I usually write him wearing boxer-briefs or briefs (and if I don't mention it, that's what I'm thinking in my head, anyway).

Actually, a lot of guys still wear boxers, at least the ones I know who are around college age. I wear boxers sometimes, shit. (Only because I have a limited supply of boxer-briefs and I'm too lazy to do laundry. Also, PLAID. And I have Grinch boxers that my mom bought me for Christmas once. :D) But yeah, they're really not conducive to tight pants - trust me, I would know.

Well, considering my dad used to wear them all the time, I never got that impression. Although, it's interesting to know he doesn't wear them anymore, but now he wears boxer-briefs too. Ha.
