I would say talk to me, but I'm so busy these days, it's ridiculous. I barely have time to write, I'm so overloaded with reading for my classes.
Anyway, I hope your carpal tunnel gets fixed and doesn't come back! D: I've never had it myself, but I've heard it's terrible if you use your hands a lot. (I actually have bursitis in both of my wrists, so, I sort of know your pain.)
Hee - sounds like Morgan - you should hear her reading/writing list, but then she's living in a castle and reading Shakespeare so I'm not that sympathetic:P
Yay! So glad to see you're still around - sorry about your hands.
Carpal tunnel sucks - and while steroid injection suck, if you have to get them done...hopefully they'll work out! (I tore a ligament in my thumb a couple of years back, and got to have steroid injections on a couple of instances afterwards. So I can kinda-sorta relate in that way.)
That's great about CR - glad he's having fun at preschool, always a good thing! :-D
Yeah - it's every day D: My oldest never went to public school a day in his life - so it really is new for me! But CR is really thriving on it . He is four and had delayed speech, so he was seeing a speech therapist which led to preschool placement and he is such a social kid, he's eating it up. I have to pick him up a little early because of our work schedules and it's just adorable to see all these little boys run up and hug him goodbye! *_*
my youngest did speech therapy this year, too. he's 8 now, though. they wanted us to put him in school, but i think that's the general push. he's a different kettle of fish. he loves people, but he gets very anxious about understanding and being understood. a classroom would not work for him. we are just enrolling him in some big group stuff (drama, sports etc) as a compromise to gently give him time with it, and it's working well for him.
um. that's blathering at you. :P i'm glad CR is having a good time.
Oh yes -my oldest was the same - or well similar - he didn't need speech therapy but I swear 'The Sensitive Child' was written about him. He just couldn't cope -everything overwhelmed him. I guess my family gets to be a textbook example of different kids needing different things! It's weird if you look at their same age pictures side by side- they look like identical twins,(and they were born on April 20th and 21st respectively) but in so many ways they couldn't be more different.
;_; i'm so sorry my sweetheart. i love you always and will gladly answer any and all request for cuddles, okay? *kisses your wrists* i love you sweet deary. you are not alone in feeling like youre missing a part of yourself :(
