i'm not a Star Trek fan, but i think it's cool that an asteroid has been named after george takei. that's because he's a terrific GLBT advocate and works with the fabulous Human Rights Campaign. but i was reading about it and the guy who proposed the change is a professor at MOUNT HOLYOKE COLLEGE! ha! my alma mater rocks!

George has got like, one of the greatest announcer voices. And he's great with the fans too! I remember when he was at a con here in NYC years ago and went jogging with some of the more fit fans through Central Park. I definitely not one of them.
