[Terra emerges from the bakery with a steaming cup of cider in one hand and a bag full of muffins in the other. Overall, it's a good start to the day. She begins to head for home when the sniffle and the voice catch her attention.

Miss? Do you need help?

[Oh what are you wearing! Anne's eyes kind of...bulge in surprise before she suppresses it as best she can. Marilla always told her never to speak too boldly in front of strangers.]

Y-yes, I think I do need some. [Pause. Oh, Marilla, you'd be so disappointed:] Do you realize that your hair is green?

[Terra's about to explain when the question throws her off-guard. She hasn't been asked that in a while, and so forgot that to some people, her hair might seem a bit...odd. A self-conscious smile forms as she tugs at the end of her ponytail.]

Oh--yes. It's, um, always been that way.

[Have a Grune! She had been wandering about aimlessly before the sounds of someone being sad caught her attention.]

Oh my, is something the matter?

Yes. [She frowns, very unsure of most people in this place.] Apparently, this is some kind of different world.

Yes, that's right. But it's very pretty. [She sits down next to her.] My name's Grune. What's your name?

It does seem like a kind of fantasy world. [Making room for her.] I am Anne Shirley. That's Anne spelled with an e.

[Luckily, by now, she has had a few people speak to her through this thing.]

It's a kind of a book, I suppose. Like volume or text or...or novel.
