Dear residents of Luceti,

Anne -
[There's a lot about this letter that concerns Katara, but first things first.]
Didn't anyone tell you? While we're here, time back home stops. When we get back, it will be like this was just a dream, and we can pick up where we left off.

Dear Anne Shirley,
I see from previous responses that you're against the idea of assuming single residence in one of the apartments. I wish you the best of luck finding a house previously occupied by others who would welcome you into their home.
Sincerely and Thoughtfully Yours,

I do think it would be just a touch too lonely -- however, I thank you heartily for your good wishes.
Respectfully yours,

Dear Miss Anne Shirley,
My name is Jacky Faber and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I too have much waiting for me back in Louisiana, but it seems that in this place we do not arrange our own departures, but rather must wait to be sent on our way.
The housing here is free and you need not do a lick of work aside from keeping your own self fed and tidy. If you are looking for a place to stay, the eighth floor of building three is empty but for me and I would be glad of some company.
Yrs most sincerely,
Jacky Faber

It is rather frustrating to sit and wait for someone else to spell out your destiny. The orphanage offered enough of that for me and I quite thought I had left it behind.
Where is building three, again?
Yours respectfully,
Anne Shirley

Miss Shirley-
Very much so. One may sail against the wind, but it seems there is no way to defy the will of the ones who hold us captive here.
I think we have a lot in common. I would be delighted to make your acquaintance in person.
Southwest of the village center, across the river. Room 40.
Anticipating your arrival,

I will be there at the soonest convenience.

[And, soon, a well-bundled Anne is rapping gently on the door to Room 40.]

Thank you very kindly. You are all so generous and truly charitable, here in Luceti. It is nice to hear encouraging things even from those without the ability to help.
Yours respectfully,

[That underlining might be just slightly passive aggressive. Who knows.]

Is there something wrong with Kida? He seems very sweet, albeit strange.
