Lolo's daycare is taking a field trip today.  I'm trying to get her out of the house by saying "ok, we want to be on time so you can take the special trip with all your friends at daycare".

Lolo lights up and replies:

"Yes! I have to brush my hair and comb my hair and see the Mayor!"

Lolo has spent the last 3 hours rummaging through everything she's ever owned, spreading the child size furniture everywhere, getting into paint she wasn't allowed to touch and hanging upside down off everything she can find ( Read more... )

Lolo and I met our friend Robyn at the mall today.  We did a little girly shopping and looking around.  It's traditional, practically mandatory really, during these mall visits that somebody try on the giant douchey sunglasses that are being sold with increasing frequency.

in the last few months, the women in my life have been rocking my world.   kind, compassionate, funny, smart and welcoming.

i'm grateful to have all of you.
