Eric, I mean this with the best of heart. You are a great guy. Its just you seem a little needy when it comes to girls. Take things slow. Or dont' fall for the conceeded girls who only care about looks, preppiness, and money. You are a good friend, I'm just trying to help you out bud.

eric, you need to realize that some people are not always looking for what you are. I think you're dependant on a relationship and when it comes along, it will be better than ever. just don't look so hard and I am sure you're going to find something. you'll know when things are right, so keep waiting. you're a good person and funny as hell, karma will kick in.
