There was a time when I'd read AIDS narratives and biographies to snap my head back into reality.I think it was because they all had such imperative calls to action in them.I must have read Paul Monette's "Last Watch of the Night" five times.Sometimes it's good to read wake-your-ass-up material---these days, there's a lot ot be awake for!
