I have liked Sylvester Stallone since his early films. He is a pretty good actor since he generally plays average tough guys out to improve themselves.
In reality, he is very bright, well-read guy who collects art. I think the only part he ever played that close to his true nature was when he was Det. Raymond 'Ray' Tango in "Tango & Cash" (1989).
I am looking forward to the next Rocky movie, and I learned on IMDB.Com that he is in "Rambo IV". Hopefully that will be good.
Since Rocky placed so high in AFI's recent 100 most uplifiting thing (I forget the exact name of it), I've decided to see all the original movies over the next month or so, and might go see the new one in the theatre when it comes out.
I didn't know about Rambo IV, however. I have no interest in seeing it (I've never been into that kind of movie), but I find it fascinating that he's reviving both characters.
