Sorry I haven't posted in thousands of months, but I'll start afresh with a nice film review.

The Godfather... Daring to Review the Most Holy of Holys...

The Godfather (1972) is the story of the Italian mafia crime syndicate in the early 40s... It is not an action packed film, it relies on the story to keep the audience on the edge of their seats... And that it does. The Godfather is widely known and is one of the greatest movies of all time.

Plot: This movie is about an Italian mafia family from Sicily, the Corleone family. Don Corleone is in a state of peace, they are in power and are succeeding the most among the other families. But when Sollozo steps into the mix & asks the Godfather help him with his involvement in drugs, Don Corleone refuses his proposition even though the payments are high. When he does this, Sollozo has Don Corleone shot and his only clean-cut son, war hero Michael Corleone, becomes entangled in a web of murder and deceit.

Good Points: Acting... Newcomer Al Pacino shines his brilliance down on this film, keeping up with such greats as Marlon Brandon, Robert Duvall, & James Caan. Directing... Francis Ford Coppola does the unthinkable... He createst an amazing film that doesn't rely on M60s and rocket launchers to keep the audience watching. Camerawork - BRILLIANT! A rush of ecstacy that flows from camera angle excellence. the Writing: almost never was there a more powerful script

Bad Points: Nothing...

RATED R: Violence, Nudity, Sexuality, Language.

Parental Guide: ... Parental Advisory

Out of 10 Stars... 9.5 Stars -- Only few films rival this masterpiece.
