ooh, nice! Love both variants (thought they look both same to me) :) Nice job! it's great to see poeple keep on doing fanart, makes me want to too, lol.
Lol, I just checked my flist and saw your new art and left some rambles, :S Well I'm glad you did decide to do some art it was gorgeous! And I'm glad you liked these pieces... it was just a subtle difference between the two, but I was a tad worried when I made it that it was cluttered, so I took it out just in case, lol. Sayjay xox
yeah, I did end up making some fanart, lol. I know what it feels like - when you think that a little color change will bring the difference into the piece. Once I made 4! versions of one blend :))) Again, I just wanted to say how much I loved this blends :)) The first one is on my desktop now ;)
First off all, gorgeous coloring! It goes so well with the mood of the piece. Second.. my favourite is actually the one WITH the clock around the hourglass because it looks like the hourglass is standing ontop of the clock making time move that much faster. I also liked how the clock filled out the place.. to me it didn't feel cluttered, it felt like the piece got more body is all. The lightflares with the caps in them is a great touch, I would have liked one of Dean running toward Dean when he screams "NOO".
You really, to me, pulled off the "Dean looking down of Sam" part. Perfect placement of pics.
All in all, one of the best pieces I've seen revolving this episode since it aired! :)
thanks for all of the comments. I'm glad it kind of worked the way I was wanting it to. I really wanted to show the hourglass in the centre of the clock as if it was sort of powering the time... having it as the dominant feature and time sort of submitting to it... but I kept looking at the piece and worrying that there was too much going on. Hence why I did the two versions... but hey.
I was going to put Dean running toward Sam into it, have Dean in one corner, Sam in the other, again separated, but for some reason I couldn't make the cap work... so I went with the image of them together to show what had been lost instead. But I really would like to go back at some point and try and make it work with Dean instead.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I'm glad you liked it and your comments were all so sweet. Thanks again! Sayjay xox
