When I got out, before noon, to pedal over to Kroger for my thyroid medicine, I saw teensy flakes drifting down, not even enough to wet the pavement. It was 39° at that time, then dropped to 37° not long after I got back. I was Lazy, with a capital L, and used David's 10 speed (no baskets and a lower unisex crossbar to try to swing my right leg over) and his red down jacket with a hood. I was dry and downright toasty, except I should have worn some gloves, too. Bucking a strong north wind was a tad numbing on the fingers. Also, I changed into a pair of flannel 'sleep pants' and a denim shirt over the t-shirt, plus a pair of NoNonsense ankle socks. Had to wear sandals, though, with the last holes on the 3 straps in use because I couldn't get my swollen feet into anything else
