I'm really sorry, Patricia. I wish I knew what else to say. I haven't got a clue as to what to do with SSA - they are completely impossible to deal with. I hope things at least get easier soon. I think your taste buds will rebound. All of the good palate conditioners I know of might be hard on your stomach: black coffee, beer, and tea. Maybe the tea won't be too tough. Black tea or green tea are best. I wish I could offer more than that, but at least maybe that will help you enjoy the taste of food again.
I have thought about you lots. I am glad to see you.
You need the assistance of a public social worker. I don't know where you live but your city should have such people available to help you. Explain your situation and see what they can do. Also...your hospital should also have such people available to help you. You need an advocate helping you work the system here. I was on disability once and had someone help me navigate it with me.
That is all I can think of. See what your city and hospital can do as far as social workers...case workers. You definitely qualify for that aid and you need it quick.
*major huggage*
I am sorry for this news. I don't know about the aid...but a social worker should be able to help you on that too.
*hugs her tightly* I was so worried baby. I had tried to send you something for your birthday, but the post office sucks so so much, so I shall try something else. *snuggles* you just rest and relax, ok? heal. I have no advice for the SSI stuff, but I'm someone else will.
**hugs you tight** It is good to see you, Patricia, though I wish the news was better. I have been thinking about you, and you are still in my prayers.
Your hospice should have a social worker who can help you navigate the system, and a lot of the time the 'hospice' tag can help things get done faster and more smoothly. Try checking with your nurse.
I am so glad to see you online again, Patricia. I understand what you are saying though, and I am sending you all my virtual hugs and respect. We missed you, and any communication from you can only gladden our hearts.
