Sad times

My "baby sister" - Lady - my Mom's dog of 14 years just was put to sleep this morning. It was for the best, hell, I was the one that looked at her and said "it's time" - but I just wanted someone there with her when she passed you know? My dad and Johnny just dropped her off and left according to the vet

Rainbow Bridge...

I'm so sorry to hear about Lady. I've had to do this myself however, I insisted that I be there when my fuzzy babies have passed over. So, yes I do know what you mean. It was so very hard to do, to witness, to live with and to recover from in all ways. If this helps you, and I hope it does, I believe in a place called "Rainbow Bridge" and when you pass over too ... they will be there to greet you as you go across the bridge as well. So - with that in mind, your fuzzy babies and your "baby sister" will see you again too when it is the right time to do so.

Syb, you need to know that even though you were not there with her in person ... you were still with her, she knows this too ... as she felt you there with her. She will always be with you in all ways, always!
