so i've got to decide my position on a matter of personal importance very soon. choice A means emotional hardship for a while, and slightly higher than a 10% chance that i'd wind up ending a very good and very important relationship... but if it doesn't end, it will be far stronger. choice B is the easy way out... no emotional hardship... but

well, you're right. it's a but too late. i chose option A. it's the right thing to do. it's what i wanted to want to do. am i entirely sure it was the right choice? no. i may never be. only time will tell. in the meantime, things are as ok as they're gunna be.
