I've seen this before. Well, that's kind of a lie. I've seen a more sophisticated this. More selective, less hazy.

I've seen a spell that systematically removes the thing that's intended to be forgotten. Like, a fight between lovers. Or a whole day, removed. None of the left-over uncomfy feelings.
