More like... he'd probably drink the other person under the table every time. Unless you've got something really special, I don't know! But SOLDIERs generally don't get drunk. [Not that Zack took her to bars, but it's pretty common knowledge in Midgar.]

It's a Tuesday night, so...vaguely slow. More oldies than newbies. But at least they probably heard, even if they didn't show up?
