[settling in doesn't really take a great deal of time...not when most of your belongings can fit into a single bag. But later in the afternoon, it isn't hard to find her sitting in the living room, scratching Cupcake's belly while flipping through journal entries]

[ sometime post-spellage but pre-patrol, buffy sorta blusters her way through the living room with a hefty looking battle axe in her arm. no reason, really. just...moving it around. she'd left it in the kitchen and thought she'd better put it away before bones gets all googly-eyed over it.

Almost everyone punks out and gets the Slayer sharp and deadly things for her birthdays and for Christmases. It's like the Chosen One's version of the hand-knit sweater.
