[voice -- filtered against Drusilla]

Hey, folks of Luceti. Lucetians? Lucetitarians? Oh, whatever.

[Sounds of rustling; Buffy clears her throat.] I need a priest--is anyone here a priest? Or know a priest? I need someone who can bless things. Watery things. Oh, and maybe a few crosses. It's sort of urgent. I'll supply the crosses and the water, ( Read more... )

I can bless things but I've never done so on water. That's Touki's domain.

She. She isn't in this place.

Kohaku might be able to bless water. She's always playing around with it anyway. I'm not sure if she's been taught how to be bless things yet though. If you have anything metallic, I could bless that.

Kohaku. Right. She's trying to help me, currently.

Lute's a priest and there is Sasarai who's a bishop.

Hmm. I might have to go look for them, then. I've spoken with Sarasai, but he's not a bishop in the same religion that would bless the water back home. Still, no harm in trying.

Lute... should be around somewhere. I see. Though Sasarai might not actually be up to blessing anything in his current... state.

We had a card game in the clinic together--is he really still there?

I need them for a spe--hmm. A recipe. From my world.

[Okay, lame cover. But she suddenly realizes she probably shouldn't go telling everyone her plan.]

Why, do you think you can help?

[Dawn, who has been spending most of her time lamenting the crappy weather in this crazy place, happens to wander outside whilst Buffy is being all productive. After a moment's quiet observation, she clears her throat, pointedly.]

...the Bee Gees.

What?

Disco has got to make a comeback, someday. I have to be sure that I'm ready for it and hip with the tunes once that happens.

The Bee Gees and 'hip'. You do realize that no-one has said that word since Friends ended, right? I worry about you.

[She'll be useful now, honest.] Want help with that?

[ooc: OMG sorry for slowness, 21st bday this weekend, crazy times.]

[Radical poutage, here.] Hey, Friends was good. I would have been peachy keen on an another season.

[But it melts into a bemused smile, and she hands over some wood pieces (pre-cut and notched) and some carpenter's glue.] Help would be mucho appreciated.

(ooc; no worries! Happy birthday. ;D!)

[Jenova is in the process of passing by when she notices Buffy playing with pieces of wood. She comes closer to investigate, dressed in a hood and cloak.]

What is it that you do?

[Looking up from a half-finished cross, she eyes the cloaked figure. Huh. Better play the vague card.]

What I do? What do you mean--right now or just in general?

[She cocks her head. Suspicious. They were always suspicious. But was that worse than going about without the cloak? Unlikely. She gestures at the pieces of wood littering the ground around the girl; her hand is blue.]

Right now.

[She wrinkles her nose at the blue hand, but doesn't go into question mode. Not yet.]

Right now, I'm remembering how I did not take shop class in high school. I'm trying to make something out of wood, but it's not working too well.
