Happy Summer Solstice!

I'm home. Tired and sore, more due to the fact that I don't sleep well in hotels, no matter how comfortable the beds are, and the one I had was mighty comfy. Add to that the fact that I've been through more weather changes in the last week then I care to elaborate which is so not good for any of what ails me ( Read more... )

Yup. *bg* Especially if it's just us in a room or some such.

I've just had some really bad experiences in the past and feel very burnt by so-called rl friends.

Sounds like you had a great time! Welcome home! And yeah, gardens taking-off seems to be the rule of the day this time of year! *wink* Good to see you back!

We did. Man that was a great place for a con. So many restaurants we never had to eat at the same way twice and shopping and out door free concerts and all in easy walking distance. What more could you ask for?

Glad to be back, though I'm never going to catch up on LJ. *g*

You know you don't have to go crazy just for little old us. Whatever state we find you in is fine with us.

And welcome back. *hugs*

I know. Wasn't implying I was was going to. *g*

I was just commenting that I have a schedule of free days prior to your arrival.

I collect the *hugs* in person when you're here. ;-)

OK, as long as we have that clear. Because that would just be silly. *grin*

We'll save up the hugs then. Can't wait to see you and F. again! :D

That's the thing about travelling - nobody will look after your garden as well as you do! I've been looking around my garden and thinking about what to do for preparation for spring and frankly, since I couldn't do much when I was pregnant, the garden is going to look pretty dull this coming spring. DH is not a gardener. No way at all! He doesn't even do yardwork. I still have bulbs to plant and it's already winter here.

BTW totally with you re being careful about what one says ... and it's so tiring going through airports in the US now. That's why DH is coming to Montreal on his own in a week's time and Mia and I are staying home. We couldn't face the umpteen security checks and delays in airports in the US. There is no quick and easy way to get to Montreal from Australia. Vancouver is slightly easier and only has one US stop.

It's true. And applies equally to the cats as well. *g*

It's a shame about Montreal, it's such a great city but I completely understand. The big draw back about visiting your fine country is the length of time it takes to get there from here.
