I can't really get out of it though, because I've signed a contract, and the county is paying for one of my loans, as well as I'm working off another loan through a work-forgiveness program with the state. Is it just the place that is bad? Is it possible to get a similar deal somewhere else (cough cough Raleigh). How long is the contract for?

Yeah, it's mostly the place. I could get a similar deal elsewhere, but I would definately lose the county's payoff. The contract I signed was for 1 year, but I am obligated to not work anywhere within 25 miles of the clinic for 5 years after the contract is up.

Usually when someone hates their job it's because they're trying too hard.

I mean, I don't know the details or anything, but make sure that before you try suicide, you try blowing off responsibility at work and making everyone else pull your dead weight and see how it feels then.

That, or join a fight club.
