I'm a moderate fan of the oscars. I know the people I'm pulling for, but there has been so much hype this year (it seems) that I'm kinda turned off. Anyways, I learned tonight that an auburn mechanical engineering professor won an oscar. How crazy is that? He won it for developing a better system for motion capture special effects. That's pretty cool. Do you know the professor? One day we will see this in the headlines "Auburn grad invents attenna to measure moisture on Mars" You will be famous. They may even want to to go to Mars and show them how it works.

I've met him once. He's a really nice guy. I'm not sure about that whole famous part though. Thanks for the encouragement though.

Did you meet him at the urinal? Of course I guess you wouldn't know if you look straight ahead and don't talk to the person next to you.
