i think at some point in time god got really lazy. i mean look at the bible vs. the world today. back in the day god was always talking to the different people and preforming miracles and smiting both believers and non-believers. now he talks to noone (and if he does that person is dubbed as crazy loonatic.) and what miracles does he preform????

You've got one thing wrong. There are miracles, every day. People just take them for granted. Like my econ prof's wife. She survived getting run over by a semi, and found out today that she's pregnant. It takes a miracle to survive that crash, and now she has a piece of her husband with her forever, even though he no longer is.

Also, God is not angry, unless you are Jewish. He is loving and forgiving. That's the purpose of communion, and why Jesus died on the cross. It was to forgive the stupidity and ignorance of his creation.

However, I think you'd be a halfway decent God, so if he does in fact retire, I'll vote for you :)
