And here's the second story written for the Merlin/Arthur Fuh-Q-Fest Prompt Challenge!

Title: Sweet to Tongue and Sound to Eye

Challenge: Round 2, prompt 11: Arthur eats something amazingly delicious at a huge feast and has to share it with Merlin. Without cluing everyone in on the fact that they are lovers.

Oh, I'm intrigued. How come the Lady is allowed in Camelot, let alone close to the royal family, when she's a sorceress. Or does Uther not know?
And really Arthur, how very obvious you are... *shakes head affectionally*

Ah sorry if I wasn't clear: this is the fic in its entirety. I wrote another story for the same challenge, and as I wrote this one last I think of it as 'the second one.' ^_^

Glad you were intrigued! *Grin* My point about Lady Amaranth was that she *isn't* magical and so Merlin *shouldn't* be as worried about her being in Camelot as he is... Poor, poor jealous!Merlin.

Yes, he was very put out when the Royal Scheduler came back to him about it being impossible to study Significant Looks, Obscure Hand Signals *and* 'Stealth' due to timetabling difficulties.

Camelot Is Great Because I Made It So. Die, Magic, Die!

This pleases me immensely. I really wanted to see this prompt written for and I doubt it could've been done better. <3 Character voices were spot-on, especially the little exchange between Merlin and Gwen.

Thank you! I began writing the Gwen bit thinking 'I'm not going to get her voice right' but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Oh Merlin, so insecure and talking about SOME OTHER WOMAN when Arthur's trying to sex you up? *shakes head*

In my mind, the dessert is like tiramisu =D

And, uh, if the "something delicious" is what I think it is, my personal opinion is it has the same texture as uncooked egg white D: Oops, TMI.

Well, the show's anachronistic anyway, so by being vague you let the reader fill in the blank with their favourite gooey dessert! *g*

I have to admit, the line '[...]returning the spoon to [the bowl] before he got stickiness all over his clothes' had me biting my tongue with juvenile humour. Favourite gooey dessert indeed.

I really loved this. Oh and this line was absolutely hilrious:
Morgana was probably the only noble paying them no mind, and that was because she obviously shared a similar opinion of the dessert with Arthur and was stuffing her face like a chipmunk. especially since Morgana's usually so poised, so brilliant fic.

Thank you! I have this wonderful image of Morgana in my head with her cheeks puffed out, like a hamster who's trying to insert as many seeds as it can into its mouth all at once.
