Hawaii - Massive picture SPAM
Got back from Hawaii two days ago. LOTS of pictures, but only a few are uploaded here. I took about 8x more than this!
Summary of trip:
I ended up going to Oahu one day, hung out at Ala Moana Shopping Center, walked to Waikiki, and then met with fugusabaku. The next day, I met with one of my co-workers who is from Hawaii and was back home at the same time I was visiting. Hung out at Ala Moana again, but this time at the park.
The next day, I flew to the Big Island and hung out at Kona. I had planned to go snorkeling, but :( the trip was canceled due to big waves and strong winds. I ended up just driving to the southernmost part of the island and back. The next night, Fugu joined me. We went to the Volcano in the morning. It was very cool. Fugu left, and I hung around for another morning.
We met back up on Oahu and hung out at the Aloha Tower Market area. The next day, I went to Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, and Turtle Beach. The day after, I hiked Diamondhead, went to Pali Lookout, Byodo-In, and Kailua Beach.
The last morning, I went to the Swap Meet to buy some souvenirs. :)

The fish are like the deer at Nara.... except they don't stick their head into your pocket and steal any piece of paper that could be misconstrued as food.

Other things done this month: got contacts! Not for everyday use, but since my eyes haven't gotten much worse, I figured I might as well use my vision plan money on this. I had to go back to the office 4 times. ^^;
Got my eyes dilated today:
Went to the dentist too. No cavities! However, was told that I should get braces if I want to have my teeth in 10-20 years. Not the Invisaligns either. Full metal ones. Great, if people already think I'm a teenager, what will they think if I had braces?! I was also told I had a tiny mouth multiple times, and the hygienist told me I had "very nicely shaped teeth" and that some people would kill to have teeth shaped like mine. Errr.... OK then.
